Comedia A Go-Go is a San Antonio based band of comedians who write, perform, and produce a unique brand of stand-up and sketch comedy along with building a reputation as talented filmmakers and fierce podcasters.

Founded in 2002, CAGG began as a group of twenty-somethings demolishing expectations of live comedy with a no-holds barred sketch show that provided new material every month for years straight. In the process, they had produced over fifty theatrical productions in venues that range from skid row taverns and coffee shops to the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center in San Antonio and the State Theatre of Austin, TX. Acting as intermissions between sketches, CAGG had also produced a multitude of comedic video shorts.

These were the foundation for their award winning Public Axis television show for multiple years, which lead to home brewed filmmaking beyond the comedy stage. What followed was multiple film contest winning shorts through the Alamo Drafthouse's Filmmaking Frenzy. Most notably, their short film, "L.A.R.P.", won Fantastic Fest's 2007 Bloodshots 48-hour horror film contest voted by none other than filmmaker Robert Rodriguez himself.

Headed by primary members Regan Arevalos, Jess Castro and Larry Garza – Comedia A Go-Go continues to be a strong comedic presence in South Texas. Performing sketch and stand-up comedy in numerous venues across Texas, CAGG promises to be a live performance that you won't want to miss. Voted among the top comedy acts and filmmakers by San Antonio Current readers, you can also catch their monthly podcast, Public Axis, and their first feature film, Blood Cousins, both fully directed and produced by Arevalos, Castro and Garza.

Armed with a dangerous wit and fearless inhibition, Comedia A Go-Go will make you laugh, make you think, and destroy all boundaries as they take you on a one of a kind comedy experience, on and off the stage.
